The Egerton House Hotel

17-19 Egerton Terrace, London, SW3 2BX

Warm scones straight from the oven, delicious finger sandwiches filled with finely sliced smoked salmon or roast chicken, delicate fruit tarts, pastries, and cupcakes towering with butter icing… there can be few daytime indulgences as joyful as traditional Afternoon Tea. At The Egerton we know how to bring this finest of English traditions to glorious life.

Relax in our sumptuous Drawing Room with a fragrant pot of loose-leaf tea, or perhaps a glass of Champagne, and prepare to be spoiled. We are proud to present our whimsical “Hatter’s Tea Party”, available until 1st of April. Our exceptional pastry tier includes a “Queen of Hearts” raspberry jam tart with almond crumble; a “Pearl of Oysters” white chocolate Lanson Champagne truffle based upon the Oysters in “The Walrus and the Carpenter”, a poem recited by Tweedledum and Tweedledee to Alice; and “Eat Me” chocolate cake with a rich buttercream icing inspired by the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Please note: we are temporarily closed for Afternoon Tea to non-residents until 1st July 2022. We will be offering a new and exciting Jubilee Afternoon Tea from this date.
